Karol Bach

President of the board of mCorporate Finance SA , head of Corporate Finance division in mBank Group

  • Karol Bach is graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and a two-year MBA program at Harvard Business School.
  • He joined mBank in 2011. He is co-author of the One Bank strategy and the leader of the initiative Mid-caps Centricity, whose task was to integrate the investment banking around the wholesale banking. The currently implemented model was developed as a part of this initiative. The initiator of establishment of the Office of Strategic Analysis (BAS), responsible for development of the office structure, its strategy as well as organization and management of the office.
  • Karol has wide experience in developing business plans, business valuations, and management of complex projects.
  • He gained professional experience at J. P. Morgan in London as a member of Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategy Advisory Group focusing on telecom and media companies working on numerous M&A transactions with customers in Central and Eastern Europe- specialize in TMT sector.
  • He worked at EQT Partners - a private equity fund in Warsaw. He developed the newly established Warsaw office and EQT presence in Eastern Europe office conducting there the first LBO transaction (leveraged buyout) in the region. He was responsible for the identification and analysis of potential investment projects in Eastern Europe.


Michał Iwanicki

Michał graduated in Finance and Banking as well as International Economic and Political Relations from the Warsaw School of Economics. He joined the mCorporate Finance team in August 2014.

Previously Michał Iwanicki worked for 4 years in the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan in London, and subsequently for 6 years at FIDEA Corporate Finance, a Warsaw-based investment banking boutique. During his work at JPMorgan Michał Iwanicki was involved in numerous M&A, equity capital markets and strategic advisory projects for large corporate clients in the natural resources sector from Western and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Middle East. At FIDEA he gained extensive experience in running M&A and financial restructuring deals across a wide range of industries for clients from Poland and Central & Eastern Europe.

Mateusz Kurysz

Mateusz Kurysz, director


Mateusz graduated from the School of Business and Management in Warsaw. He joined mCorporate Finance in 2015 as a director.
Mateusz possesses over 10 years of experience in transaction advisory. He participated in vast number of sales transactions of companies belonging to private owners and private equity funds operating in various industries: food, service, manufacturing, medical, heavy industry, energy, renewable energy, TMT and others.
Prior to joining MCF, Mateusz spent over four years at an advisory boutique - CAG. Previously, he was a member of the PwC transaction team, except transaction advisory, he also advised on corporate finance projects such as feasibility studies, acquisition of investment loans, building financial models. Mateusz started his career in transaction advisory at the Polish representative office of the Portuguese investment bank Espirito Santo (CESI).

Piotr Zawalski

Piotr Zawalski, director


Piotr graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Warsaw University. He joined the mCorporate Finance team as a director in 2016. He holds a CFA title.
Piotr has over 10 years of professional experience. Prior to joining mCF he worked in the Investment Banking department of Trigon Brokerage House, where he lead numerous M&A and equity markets’ transactions, as well as strategic advisory initiatives, for the biggest Polish entrepreneurs. In particular he was responsible for executing a number of cross-border acquisitions in the CEE region and DACHL countries. Previously he worked for strategic advisory boutique Azimutus, as well as corporate finance department of KPMG in Warsaw. His career began in Procter&Gamble, where he was responsible for selected products’ marketing in the Baltic states.
